Paratroopers of the 50th Independent Parachute Brigade commemorated 75 years of independence in Agra by conducting one of its kind Combat Free-Fall by 75 paratroopers of Shatrujeet Brigade of
Indian Army and Indian Air Force. Lt Gen Yogendra Dimri AVSM, VSM, GOC-in-C Central Command, Air Marshal RJ Duckworth AVSM, VSM, AOC-in-C Central Air Command, and various civil dignitaries of Agra witnessed a demonstration of Strong and Capable Indian Army.
The event commenced with Combat Free-Fall by 75 Paratroopers of the Indian Army and Indian Air Force. Free-Fall was followed by Unarmed Combat display by 75 skilled paratroopers. The IAF displayed its transport aircraft employed airborne operations. The event culminated with a Paramotor display by the Paratroopers.
The Shatrujeet Brigade also placed its rapid response capability on display with a live demonstration of deployment of BMPs, Artillery Guns, Vehicle-mounted Anti Tank Missiles, and Air Defense Missiles. A display of airborne equipment and weapons was organized for the civil dignitaries.
Lt Gen Yogendra Dimri AVSM, VSM, GOC-in-C Central Command paid his tribute to 724 personnel of the Shatrujeet Brigade who have made supreme sacrifice and laid a wreath at the Shatrujeet War Memorial.
